Our Story

Sinojia Capital was founded on a simple observation: India's most consequential infrastructure projects were often capital-ready but research-poor, or research-rich but capital-poor. Bringing both functions under one roof — and holding them to the same standard — became the founding thesis of the firm.

Gujarat's prosperity was built by generations who left everything familiar in pursuit of opportunity — an entrepreneurial spirit that carried Gujarati communities from East Africa to the United Kingdom, from the United States to Southeast Asia. That work ethic has not diminished. But the structural conditions that once turned hard work into explosive, city-transforming growth have changed, and comfortable, predictable growth does not, by itself, build the next golden era.

At the same time, a significant share of the capital generated by decades of industrial prosperity is finding its way into financial instruments rather than new industries — stocks, mutual funds, bonds, gold, cryptocurrency and fixed deposits, alongside a wave of investment fraud that has eroded the very capital that could seed the next golden era. Cities are not built on financial paper. They are built on ideas, industries, and the capital that backs them.

Sinojia Capital exists to redirect a share of that capital back into the real economy — into the industries that Gujarat does not yet have, structured in a way that protects everyone who contributes to them.

Sinojia Capital operates through two complementary models, both built on the architecture of the Special Purpose Vehicle (SPV) — a dedicated legal entity, with its own balance sheet, created for a single project.

Under the first, we launch new ventures: bringing a project to life through an SPV in which every working partner and capital contributor — large or small — has a formally documented, legally protected position from day one. Under the second, we fund expansion for existing companies with good projects that have hit a capital ceiling — funding the project through a dedicated SPV while the company retains its identity, management and ownership.

In both cases, Sinojia Capital is itself a working partner inside the SPV — contributing project structuring, regulatory navigation, execution planning, market access and operational support, not merely capital.

We have looked at how durable partnerships are built — from the great trading houses of old Gujarat to the keiretsu coalitions that rebuilt post-war Japan — and the common thread is simple: a true partner cannot afford for you to fail, because their outcome is inseparable from yours. Investors Nassim Taleb and Warren Buffett describe a version of this as 'skin in the game' — those who make decisions must bear the consequences of those decisions.

Sinojia Capital is built on that principle. When we structure a project, our own capital, our operational team and our reputation are committed alongside every other partner in the SPV — visible, documented, and exposed to the same outcomes. We are not an advisory firm that is paid regardless of the result. We are a co-investor and a working partner, and we only enter projects we are prepared to stand inside.

Starting from a generalist research and advisory base, Sinojia Capital progressively built dedicated platforms across four verticals that define India's next decade of infrastructure demand: data centres and AI infrastructure, solar and renewable energy, nuclear and atomic infrastructure, and next-generation pharmaceuticals.

Each platform operates with its own operating team and dedicated digital presence, while drawing on the shared research, governance and capital functions of Sinojia Capital Infratech LLP.

Our story is still being written by the projects we choose to research, structure and back. The chapters ahead will be shaped by India's energy transition, the build-out of digital infrastructure for an AI-driven economy, and the modernisation of pharmaceutical manufacturing — and by the coalitions of Gujarati businesses we bring together to build them.
